Jerod Mayo’s first season as a head coach just got a bit more interesting.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, Mayo’s new look New England Patriots fly overseas to take on Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
The Week 7 game will be the second overseas trip in as many years for the Patriots; last year, they played the Colts in Frankfurt, Germany and lost by a score of 10-6.
Both teams are coming off disappointing 2023 seasons. New England dipped to 4-13 after going 8-9 in 2022 and severed ties with long-time head coach and eight-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick.
