The New England Patriots addressed a critical offseason part of their to-do list by welcoming Mike Vrabel back as their newest head coach.
New England hired Vrabel as their replacement for Jerod Mayo following the team’s horrid 4-13, last-place finish in the AFC East. It was clear as day that the Patriots needed a change of leadership in their locker room and although Mayo didn’t get a completely fair shake at the helm, former New England quarterback Drew Bledsoe offered his support of the decision to give Vrabel the job.
“I knew without knowing that they were gonna hire Vrabel,” Bledsoe said on NESN’s “Boston Has Entered The Chat” podcast.
