Former Penn State quarterbacks Sean Clifford and Trace McSorley had some time to catch up a bit this week as their two NFL teams, the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots (respectively), joined up for joint practices leading up to their preseason matchup Saturday night. McSorley did not record any stats in the preseason matchup, but Clifford continued to be the top backup to the Packers’ starter Jordan Love.
Clifford completed 13 of 19 pass attempts for 137 yards but had no touchdowns to show for it.
