INDIANAPOLIS – The legend of Mac Jones remains strong in Alabama.
After working his way up the quarterback depth chart and leading the Crimson Tide to a National Championship, former college teammates still remember Jones for the qualities he showed off the field. He was a joker, a leader, workout warrior and someone who connected with everyone in that Alabama locker room.
That’s been evident here in Indianapolis at the 2023 NFL Combine.
On Wednesday, multiple draft prospects from Alabama spoke about Jones and said the Patriots quarterback made a lasting impression on them during their underclassman years in Tuscaloosa.
