FOXBORO — The injury news isn’t all bad on the Patriots front. Devin McCourty is a bit hobbled with a bad ankle, but there are no casts, crutches or trips to the injured reserve on the horizon.
The cornerback didn’t even need a wheelchair to get around the Bass Pro Shop last night, where he was shopping with kids as part of the Patriots Charitable Foundation’s holiday shopping event.
“I’m all right. I think I’m like everybody else. You make it through when it comes to shopping,” McCourty said with a laugh. “I can’t turn down some nice retail therapy.
