Before the Patriots take on the Texans this Sunday, Houston’s head coach DeMeco Ryans had praise for cornerback Christian Gonzalez, whose strong performance against Miami was regrettably not enough to earn New England a win.
“Just seeing him, his instincts showing up, his ability to make plays on the football, you can see him leading a lot of one-on-one matchups,” Ryans told reporters on Wednesday. “He’s doing a really good job.”
“He’s a tall, athletic corner,” Ryans said. “He has the athletic ability, all the traits are off the charts with him.”

Gonzalez got his first interception of the season last Sunday against the Dolphins, which led to the Patriots scoring their only touchdown that night.
