Drake Maye could get a glimpse into his future when the top-tier draft prospect visits Gillette Stadium on Friday.
The Patriots will reportedly host the UNC quarterback on an official 30 visit, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. Following successful meetings during the quarterback’s pro day in Chapel Hill, N.C. last week, Maye remains a strong contender for the team’s No. 3 overall pick.
“They’ve been great,” Maye told reporters last Thursday. “For such a historic program and team and history up there in New England, so just getting the chance to know them, get to know what they’re about, and their champion mindset of getting back to the glory days has been cool.
