New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett wasn't in Sunday's preseason finale for long.
The veteran signal-caller got walloped on a sack by Washington Commanders defensive end KJ Henry. There was a miscommunication along the Patriots' offensive front that freed up Henry to run straight at Brissett and deliver the crushing blow.
Brissett stood up after the play and could be seen grimacing before finishing out the drive which resulted in a punt. The Patriots didn't take any chances with their expected starting quarterback, and they brought out rookie Drake Maye to take over on the ensuing drive.
