The Patriots emerged from the 2016 NFL draft without a running back. They made nine picks, but none of them were backs, which was curious considering many of us who make a living in the second-guess business thought the position was one of their primary needs.
But then, among their undrafted free agent signings, the Pats finally pounced on a running back.
Or did they?

So, while making the team is the first hurdle Foster will have to cross as an undrafted player, what could he be for the Patriots if he makes the roster?
