The season opener is fast approaching and roster decisions are just around the bend.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick will be making his first cut a week from Tuesday (Sept. 1), trimming from 90 players to 75. The final cut comes Sept. 5.
So with two preseason games in the books, this is a good point for us to have another go at projecting who stays and who goes.
Once again, it should be noted both Tom Brady (four games) and LeGarrette Blount (one game) don’t count against the 53-man roster due to suspensions. We’ll give them an asterisk.
