INDIANAPOLIS — NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock has been raving about the 2017 cornerback draft class, calling it the deepest he’s ever seen.
And this year’s crop has plenty of prospects, many on the taller side who aren’t likely to go until the second round or later.
Yesterday, the media got to meet many of those cornerback studs during access at the NFL’s scouting combine.
It was hard not to come away impressed, and think the Patriots could add on or reload in the draft in the second or third round whether it was Florida’s Quincy Wilson, Clemson’s Cordrea Tankersley, Ohio State’s Gareon Conley, Colorado’s Ahkello Witherspoon, just to name a few of the taller corners.
