In their two Super Bowl wins against the Patriots, the Giants had what every NFL team would love to own right about now.
They had the Kryptonite to take away Tom Brady’s super powers and render him nothing more than an ordinary quarterback.
In both of those championship games, which closed the 2007 and 2011 seasons, the Giants kept Brady and the Patriots under 20 points, which rarely happens.
How did they accomplish the mission? Mostly with a menacing defensive line that made Brady’s life miserable. They pestered him and came at him from every direction, pressuring him to the point where it was tough to get in his usual rhythm.
