FOXBORO — There’s never any need to worry about Tom Brady being motivated. The Patriots quarterback has used the chip on his shoulder to forge a Hall of Fame-caliber career. There’s always some kind of slight that gets him fired up.
This season won’t be any different.
While he no longer has Deflategate as his primary trigger point, Brady will have another source of inspiration for 2017 when the season officially kicks off tonight with the Patriots raising championship banner No. 5 before squaring off against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Patriots quarterback will be spurred on by the quest for a sixth Super Bowl title, of course.
