Bill Belichick was a man on a mission yesterday during Day 1 of free agency, and while it’s way too early to make any final assessments given there’s more to come, it’s pretty clear the Hoodie has an agenda.
Watching Belichick go out and land top cornerback Stephon Gilmore right when the opening bell rang, while also re-signing a couple of his own important free agents on defense in Alan Branch and Duron Harmon, basically sent a message to the rest of the league.
