New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye finally has a No. 1 receiving target.
On Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Patriots had agreed to a three-year, $69 million deal with four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs. It's an expensive contract for a 31-year-old wide receiver coming off a torn ACL injury.
Per Schefter, the contract has $26 million in guaranteed money.
The Patriots left no stone unturned in their continued search for a top receiver. They failed to land one in free agency last year, and for a while, it looked like they were headed toward the same disappointment in 2025.
