The need for a running back was clear for the New England Patriots heading into the 2025 NFL draft, but it was surprising to see them take Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson with the No. 38 pick.
That's until you turn on the tape.
Henderson is a home run threat every time he touches the ball. He has the kind of elite, breakaway speed the Patriots haven't had in the offensive backfield in quite some time. That makes him a dangerous complement for running back Rhamondre Stevenson.
His addition to the room with the likes of Stevenson and Antonio Gibson instantly gives the Patriots one of the best running back units in the league.
