The Chicago Bears had been in the market for an edge rusher for a while now, and they finally got their guy. On Friday, the Bears acquired veteran edge rusher Darrell Taylor from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick, giving them another player to go after the quarterback when the regular season begins. This comes just over a week after Chicago attempted to land New England Patriots edge rusher Matthew Judon, who was dealt to the Atlanta Falcons instead.
Taylor spent the last three seasons with the Seahawks as a rotational player but produced when he was on the field.
