Nathan Rourke will head from Foxborough to East Rutherford.
The New York Giants claimed the former CFL quarterback off waivers from the New England Patriots on Tuesday, as first reported by NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.
Rourke, 25, had been let go from an AFC East depth chart that moves forward with Jacoby Brissett, Bailey Zappe as well as 2024 NFL draft arrivals Drake Maye and Joe Milton III. He now joins an NFC East room that includes Daniel Jones, Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito under contract.
The Patriots were awarded the 6-foot-1, 210-pound British Columbia native off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars last December.
