After five seasons on the staff in Foxborough, Troy Brown is heading to the East Rutherford.

The New England Patriots Hall of Famer has been hired by head coach Brian Daboll’s New York Giants as an offensive assistant through the NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship, the team announced Thursday.

Brown, 53, began his coaching career where he spent the duration of his playing career. After assisting in an unofficial capacity in 2019, he was named New England’s returners coach in 2020 while also lending a hand with veteran Ivan Fears’ running back room.
