Four players reverted to the New England Patriots’ practice squad on Monday after serving as call-ups against the Houston Texans, according to the NFL transaction wire.
Veteran interior lineman James Ferentz and defensive back Myles Bryant were Covid-19 replacements for New England’s 25-22 win at NRG Stadium. Reserve guards Alex Redmond and Will Sherman were standard elevations.
Ferentz, 32, started at left guard in the absence of incumbent Mike Onwenu and remained in for all 64 offensive snaps. The Iowa product has now appeared in 25 games and started five for New England since arriving in 2017.
