LB Gerald Hodges will visit with the New England Patriots on Wednesday. His overall grade of 82.4 last season ranked him 21st among all linebackers.
If brought in, Hodges would be the second highest graded linebacker (based on last season) for New England behind LB Dont’a Hightower.
Hodges was 13th out of 38 qualified inside linebackers last season with a run-stop percentage (percentage of a player’s run defense snaps where he was responsible for a stop) of 9.3. He also finished with 29 run stops, ranking 15th in the league among inside linebackers and had only five missed tackles while in run defense.
