A past trade acquisition was among four free agents in Foxborough on Friday.
The New England Patriots hosted wide receiver Isaiah Ford, fullback Nick Bawden, tight end Neal Johnson and offensive lineman Mike Novitsky for workouts, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2.
Ford, 28, made his way to Gillette Stadium during the NFL’s 2020 trade deadline in exchange for a conditional draft choice. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Virginia Tech product was waived that December and returned to the Miami Dolphins. Selected in the seventh round of the 2017 class, Ford appeared in 32 games during his time on the other side of the AFC East, catching 63 passes for 681 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
