Former Pro Bowler explains why he ‘didn’t like’ playing for the Patriots

Michael Bennett put together an impressive career in the NFL, earning three Pro Bowl nods with the Seahawks while winning a Super Bowl in 2014 with Seattle.

But the former defensive end’s tenure with the Patriots didn’t have many highlights.

Acquired by New England in a trade with the Eagles in March 2019, Bennett was brought in by the Patriots in hopes he’d be a dependable pass-rusher on a veteran defensive unit.

Bennett ultimately played just six games in New England, recording 2.5 sacks before the Patriots traded him to the Dallas Cowboys in October 2019 for a conditional 2021 sixth-round pick.
