It comes as no surprise that Jacoby Brissett’s second stint with the New England Patriots was one-and-done.
Brissett found his next NFL home Tuesday as he reportedly plans to sign with the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. The Cardinals will be the sixth team of Brissett’s career.
Brissett will go to the Cardinals as the definitive backup to starter Kyler Murray. While Arizona might not be getting the most talented quarterback in Brissett, it is getting an experienced one. Brissett has appeared in 87 games, including 53 starts, over his nine-year career.
Joining the Cardinals will also reunite Brissett with offensive coordinator Drew Petzing.
