After searching all offseason, former New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore finally has a new home.
On Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings.
Since leaving the Patriots, Gilmore has spent his last three seasons jumping around to the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys. Now, the 33-year-old defensive back will embark on his 13th NFL season with the Vikings.
He is still a proven playmaker on the field considering he played in all 17 games last season with 68 tackles, 13 pass deflections, two interceptions and one forced fumble with the Cowboys.
