FOXBORO, Massachusetts (WKBN) – The New England Patriots claimed wide receiver Matt Landers off waivers from the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday.
He spent all of training camp with Cleveland, after signing with the Browns back on May 21. He was released on Aug. 19.
In two preseason games with the Browns, Landers caught two passes for 12 yards.
Landers originally signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a rookie free agent out of Arkansas in 2023.
After spending time with both Seattle and Carolina last season, Landers also played for the Arlington Renegades and San Antonio Brahmas of the UFL in 2024 prior to signing with Cleveland.
