Rumors have been swirling about the New England Patriots’ potential to acquire Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
There have been some concerns that a bridge might have been burned between Hopkins and Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien, during their time together with the Houston Texans. However, former Texans wide receivers coach John Perry believes the duo would be able to work together, if the two were to reunite.
The relationship between the two hit a speed bump, when Hopkins was traded by O’Brien to the Arizona Cardinals in March 2020. Perry gave a little bit more insight into the dynamic between Hopkins and O’Brien, according to MassLive’s Mark Daniels.
