After a short stint with the New England Patriots earlier this offseason, James Robinson has landed with the New York Giants.
The Giants announced Friday that they have signed the 24-year-old running back, giving him a landing spot right as teams across the league begin to assemble for training camp.
Robinson was a 1,000-yard rusher with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a rookie in 2020 and appeared to show some major upside as an NFL running back. However, Robinson tore his Achilles in 2021 and eventually fell out of favor in Jacksonville, leading to him being traded to the Jets midway through the 2022 season.
