Some thoughts on this Wednesday afternoon:
1) There was some good news on Wednesday after New England Patriots center David Andrews was seen back at practice. The veteran hasn’t seen the field since taking a vicious shot near the end of the Chicago Bears game three weeks ago, which saw him sustain a concussion.
The hit came on an ugly play where Bears defensive tackle Mike Pennell blindly hit Andrews as he was in pursuit following an interception by Bailey Zappe. Pennell hit Andrews, who never saw him coming, and completely blew him up, with the New England center hitting the turf in a heap before eventually leaving the game.
