This past weekend the New England Patriots made headlines when they traded a 2023 third-round pick for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker and a 2022 fifth-round pick.
The move immediately created impressive depth to a Patriots wide receiving corps with plenty of upsides as Parker joins Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, Nelson Agholor, and tight ends Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith.
Over his seven-year NFL career, Parker has 388 receptions for 4,727 yards and 24 touchdowns but has averaged just 13 games a season due to injuries. In 2019, which was Parker’s best as a pro, was the only time he played in all 16 games.
