Jakob Johnson, meet history.
The former Ribault standout caught Cam Newton's first touchdown pass as New England's quarterback — the Patriots' first passing score of the post-Tom Brady period — on the nationally-televised Sunday Night Football game against Seattle.
Lining up in the backfield, Johnson drifted off to the right to grab a 1-yard scoring pass from Newton, his first points in the league.
He joins Laveranues Coles, Kelvin Martin and Travis Taylor as Trojans to catch a touchdown pass in the NFL.
Not that his former Ribault head coach is shocked.
