FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had hoped his brother Glenn, a rookie fullback, might be back on the team's practice squad after he was released last Wednesday.
Five days later, his wish has been granted.
Glenn Gronkowski was back in the Patriots' locker room Monday, confirming that he's rejoined the team's practice squad. In addition, running back Tyler Gaffney said he is also back to be part of the practice squad. Gaffney had been with the team in training camp but sustained a foot sprain in the preseason finale, which landed him on injured reserve.
