Ezekiel Elliott may have flamed out with the Dallas Cowboys. But his old team appears to have high hopes for his upcoming stint with the New England Patriots.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says he received a text from a Cowboys personnel member highlighting how strong a fit Elliott is under Bill Belichick in New England.
“He fits their playstyle perfectly,” the personnel member told Pelissero.
