Trace McSorley, quarterback — In the fallout of starting quarterback Kenny Pickett undergoing ankle surgery on Monday, the Steelers signed McSorley to the practice squad. The 28-year-old Penn State product had been waived by the Patriots at the 53-man roster deadline in August after appearing in the preseason opener and finale.
