The 2024 season opener will be a reunion for some New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals.

Between the active rosters and practice squads, seven players currently in the fold have been a member of both teams during the NFL tenures. Their stays vary from weeks to years.

Here’s a glance through the past Patriots and past Bengals ahead of Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Paycor Stadium.

CINCINNATI

Mike Gesicki, tight end — Gesicki signed a one-year deal with the Bengals in March after spending 2023 in Foxborough. The 28-year-old tight end’s lone campaign with the Patriots brought 29 receptions for 244 yards and a pair of touchdowns across all 17 games.
