Ex-Patriots trainer Harold Nash joins Lions

Harold Nash wasn't out of a job long.

The former Patriots strength and conditioning coach joined the Lions in a similar role on Friday.

In Detroit, Nash is joining former Patriots executive Bob Quinn, who was hired earlier this month as the Lions GM.

Nash had been with the Patriots since 2005. He started as the assistant strength and conditioning coach before getting promoted in 2011.

Assistant strength and conditioning coach Moses Cabrera could be Nash’s replacement unless the Patriots decide to go in an entirely different direction.

Nash's exit from the Patriots was one of several notable ones on Belichick's staff this week, along with ex-offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo (now with Chargers) and ex-linebackers coach Patrick Graham (now with Giants).
