Ex-mates all in Brady’s bunker

PLYMOUTH — Matt Chatham didn’t dance around the subject when asked what happens next with Tom Brady’s appeal of his four-game suspension.

“Hopefully (the Patriots) just laugh at the NFL as they kick their (butt),” Chatham said.

The Joe Andruzzi & Friends Golf Tournament at Pinehills Golf Club yesterday brought out former and current Patriots, including Andruzzi, Chatham, Dan Koppen, Tim Fox, Tedy Bruschi, Bryan Stork and Duron Harmon. When Deflategate came up, the message was a clear consensus: Brady deserves to be playing in the season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“I just hope they drop the whole thing,” said Brady’s former center Koppen, who’s now a free agent.
