The New England Patriots head coach is searching for a new offensive coordinator after Josh McDaniels left for the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin assembled a list of the top 10 options for the Patriots to replace McDaniels. It includes a stunner at No. 2: Adam Gase, who went 9-23 as New York Jets head coach in 2019 and 2020.
In NFL circles, Gase is a respected offensive coach, he has the seal of approval from former pupil Peyton Manning, and he has spent 10 years as an NFL offensive coordinator or head coach.
