Ex-Giants coach Joe Judge will get ‘different’ role with Patriots

Joe Judge isn’t going anywhere.

The former New York Giants head coach appeared to be out of a job Thursday when the New England Patriots formally announced Bill O’Brien as the team’s offensive coordinator.

That’s because O’Brien also will serve as quarterbacks coach, and that’s the job Judge filled in 2022.

However SI’s Albert Breer reports Judge will be sticking around in Foxborough, Mass. Per NBC Sports Boston:

“My understanding is Joe Judge is going to be on the 2023 staff in a different role.
