The Patriots have lost a few bright offensive minds on their coaching staff this offseason. It appears that they’re bringing back a veteran coach to try to remedy the situation.
According to The MMQB’s Albert Breer, the Patriots are working on a deal to bring Joe Judge back on the coaching staff as an offensive assistant. Breer reports that a contract will be done in the coming days. Judge, 40, spent the last two seasons as the head coach of the New York Giants. He received his start in the NFL under Bill Belichick and worked on the Patriots staff for eight seasons (2012-2019).
