Fans and analysts alike expected the Philadelphia Eagles to lose a number of their top pending free agents this offseason.
What no one saw coming was defensive tackle Milton Williams landing himself $26 million per year from the rebuilding New England Patriots.
Williams certainly got his bag, and the Eagles were likely happy to wish their former third-round pick a fond farewell at $104 million over four seasons. Williams was an efficient interior pass rusher for Philly, and entering his age-26 season, the arrow was definitely trending up entering his first foray into free agency.
