FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- For the first time since he was diagnosed with a concussion a week ago, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was present in the locker room during the media-access period Sunday, and it looked like he had physically exerted himself in practice.
Gronkowski is prohibited from conducting interviews with reporters while in the concussion protocol, and when a reporter approached him Sunday and asked if he got good work in, Gronkowski smiled.
"Are you trying to get information out of me?" he said with a laugh.
Gronkowski showed his sense of humor in that moment, but more importantly, it reflected how there haven't been any setbacks with his participation in practice over the past two days.
