ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Even though John Elway chose continuity over change, major shifts are afoot for the Denver Broncos in the wake of the team's most disappointing season in decades .
A day after deciding to retain head coach Vance Joseph, Elway said he's expanding Gary Kubiak's front office role to help him in free agency and the draft.
"I'm not sure what his title is going to be," Elway said Tuesday. "I don't even know what his title is now."
Kubiak returned to the Broncos last summer in a scouting capacity seven months after stepping down as their head coach over health concerns.
