New England Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf opened up about wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk's struggles in his rookie season.

Polk was selected with the 37th overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. Like with any rookie, the team knew there would be growing pains, but there was hope that he'd contribute right out of the gates. He showed promise in training camp, but it never carried over into the regular season games.

The former University of Washington standout only caught 12 passes for 87 yards in the season. He struggled to get open, and when he found space and saw targets, he struggled to catch the ball.
