FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- On Wednesday at noon ET, the New England Patriots Hall of Fame committee will meet to discuss and ultimately narrow the field to three finalists for 2017. One of the three finalists will be chosen by a fan vote.
In addition, the 10-person senior selection committee will discuss and vote on the senior candidates for the Hall of Fame.
Ten notes on the process:
1. This is the 11th consecutive year the committee has gathered to recommend, discuss, debate and nominate the former Patriots players and head coaches most deserving of induction.
