With less than a week until election day, teams around the NFL teams are using their social media accounts to encourage fans to cast ballots and make their voices heard.
After George Floyd was killed in Minnesota on May 25, the NFL and the NFLPA created “Inspire Change,” a social justice platform for the league and its current and former players contributing money and resources to nonprofit organizations working to improve racial justice in the United States. Among the products of conversations between the Commissioner’s Office and the players was a joint interest in the value of a voting initiative.
