Kevin Hart is recovering in a wheelchair after he tore multiple muscles in a foot race against a former New England Patriots player, the comedian announced Wednesday.
In an Instagram post, Hart said, “Ladies and gentlemen, the age 40 is real. All my men and women out there who are 40 years old and above, respect that age. It’s not a game.”
Hart tore his lower abdomen and both hip abductors after Super Bowl XLIX champion running back Stevan Ridley challenged him to a 40-yard dash.
“I don’t want you to be alarmed, but I’m in a wheelchair,” Hart said in the post, which had a caption that read, “Dumbest man alive.
