FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- "Big Kitch" is back with the New England Patriots.
Defensive tackle Ishmaa'ily Kitchen, who was referred to as "Big Kitch" by teammate Jabaal Sheard, has re-signed with the team. He was present in the locker room Wednesday and preparing to practice.
Kitchen had signed with the Patriots on Dec. 16, only to be released Dec. 22 when a roster spot was needed to make room for veteran running back Steven Jackson.
The 6-foot-1, 330-pound Kitchen, who played for the Browns from 2012-14, was called a strong player against the run by coach Bill Belichick after he was initially signed.
