Drew Bledsoe was in New England for multiple head coaching changes during his tenure with the Patriots. Asked for his take on the recent switch, he embraced Robert Kraft’s decision to hire Mike Vrabel.
Bledsoe, speaking to NESN’s “Boston Has Entered The Chat” podcast on Monday, concurred with most fans’ takes that once Jerod Mayo had been fired, Vrabel was the obvious choice.
“I knew without knowing that they were going to hire Vrabel,” Bledsoe offered.
“Bob Kraft is not somebody who makes snap decisions without having a plan, and Vrabel was available,” he added.
