It’s been nearly 18 years since former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe was a key figure in the local sports scene, but over the past two weeks, Bledsoe gained some newfound Boston attention from a very unlikely source, Terry Rozier and the Celtics playoff run.
To set the stage, in Game 1 of the Celtics first round matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks, C’s point guard Rozier called Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe “Drew”, either by accident or a little subtle trash talk after the teams Game 1 victory.
In response, the Bucks Bledsoe claimed he had no idea who Rozier even was after the Bucks tied the series in Game 2.
